Meet Dave Yount
I was abosolutely turned inside out by Lee McBee's harp in the early 90's. Bought my first harp a few days later.along with an instuctional book and cassette tape entitled "blues and country harmonica for the musically hopeless. "The material was way too complex for me but I had been deeply bitten by the harp bug and I continued to try to play .Every now and then would get a sound that wasn't too offensive. Started playing for audiances soon after.Sporatically played coffee shops,parties,festivals,carnivals,clubs and bars around Topeka.
Most important of all-- Recently,was seduced by the music made by the BLT band and am an enthusiastic new member. I feel there is music magic starting to come from this group of stong musicians and one moderately goofy old harp player.
